2017 Swimmer Showcase

11:00 Swim Meet

The event begins with our third annual swim meet.  This meet is open to all who can swim the long length of our pool in any style.  Students will be paired up to swim at the same time as someone their same ability and everyone will be cheered on, loudly!  We will also have races for those swimming the competitive strokes: Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly, and Breaststroke.

The meet will end with a silly instructor relay race that you won't want to miss.  (I'll give you a hint, there will be costumes)

11:30 Open Swim

Following the meet, the pool will be open for all (students, parents, siblings, friends, etc) to play around and further show off all that they have learned. This is a great chance for the little swimmers to have a time to show what they have learned and have some fun! 

Life jackets, puddle jumpers, and other flotation devices are welcome.  There will be a lifeguard on duty, but all students under the age of 6 must have an adult in the water with them to ensure their safety.

Not up for swimming? Then enjoy some fun crafts and temporary tattoos under the shade of the back deck, or play some yard games that will be set up throughout the back yard.

12:00 Picnic Lunch

Stick around for a free picnic lunch.  The menu includes hot dogs, chips, watermelon, salad, and plenty of dessert, because it wouldn't be a Bowler Swim School party without lots of yummy sweets!

Once you are done eating you will still have some time to play those yard gamrs and make some crafts.
